In this clip from the upcoming documentary about his life, Harlan Ellison (noted short story, novella, and television (classic Star Trek, the original Outer Limits) candidly speaks about why/when a writer should be paid. Never one to be afraid to take a shot at anybody (do some research about his pseudonym Cordwainer Bird), Harlan has some not-so-nice things to say about people who don’t want to pay him.

Nike has just released the Force Hi in the Mexican Blanket Pack. First of all, how gnarly is Nike? Seems like these guys release a couple new shoes a day now. The Force Hi comes in a serious mix of colors and patterns that are bound to get anyone south of the border a little aroused. I am north of the border and I am quite aroused myself.

The Big Black Phenomena is sweeping the nation.  For those who don’t know what I’m speaking of, I’m talking about the insanely rad clothing company started by Big Black, from the MTV show, Rob and Big.  As soon as the XXXL shirts bearing the double B logo across the chest started popping up on the show, people started to turn to PacSun to get the latest designs.  I myself have given into the trend.  I love the logo and the “bling factor” that the designs incorporate.  It’s a good way to make a white kid feel fresh.  haha…
